Trick or Treat!!

Here's a trick that's actually a treat!

Burger "Sliders"

What you need:

Vanilla Wafers
Candy fruit gems (We got ours at Trader Joes)

Stuff for the "Burger" part:

1/3 cup of heavy cream
1/3 cup of corn syrup
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 bag of chocolate chips

Here's what you do:

Put the cream and corn syrup together in a saucepan. Boil it for one minute. Take it off the stove and add the chocolate chips. Stir it together until it's melted and smooth, then add the vanilla and the powdered sugar and stir it again until it's smooth. Then pour it into a jellyroll pan that has been all greased. Smash it flat onto the pan, then chill it in the freezer for a half an hour or so. To cut out the burger shapes, you take a circle cookie cutter the size of the wafer cookies. The other way to do it is to cut some of the fudge off, roll it into a ball and smash it into a burger shape.

Then what you do is stack a burger on one cookie and add a fruit candy (you can smash the candy flat first if you need to so it's the same size as the burger) then stack another cookie on the top.

See in the picture that they actually look like mini burgers! We had these for dessert at our Trick or Treat dinner. Thanks Rachael Ray for this tricky idea.
